I don’t have an algorithm to generate a score based on several factors. Instead I will provide you with my personal recommendation of how I found the film in support of my review.
A Must See
May not be a flawless film but there are enough redeeming features that either make it a personal favourite or a much loved film that I think everyone would get a benefit out of watching.
Great
Highly recommended viewing. If a new release, I would suggest going to see this at your local cinema.
Good
Recommended viewing to add to your watchlist. A good one for a night in from a streaming service or rental.
Alright
Middle of the pack; not a bad film but not a good one either. Might be best reserved for a one time viewing just to say you’ve seen it.
Disappointment
Didn’t deliver against expectations. Might be worth a watch if it’s your thing but I wouldn’t be in any hurry.
